Summer project of 2022, The Kirknell Records is a 10 episodes Audio drama set in the Foxhole MMO Universe using in-game location as the stage for a military scenario. Taking the form of a logbook this series was a good testing field in terms of narration, storytelling as well as audio and video montage.

Writing
Taking place between late March 2022 and early June of the same year, the writing started out as a throwaway addition to a collection of unpublished works.
At this stage there was only a vague idea of where this format could go, but early on the form of it made it more attainable than other previous materials I had previously worked on.
Once the decision to carry on this project to its completion was made, the overall storyline was rapidly established. The idea was to focus on a first person perspective that would fit the tone of Foxhole's world, one of a divided continent plunged into a never ending conflict.

Visual Identity
Parallel to the writing itself, one of the main pillar of this series was the search for a unique visual identity.
One that would stand out while remaining reachable for me, in order to produce the amount of assets required in a reasonable timeframe.
By utilizing some of my previous work for Foxhole as references, notably my training documents, and after several trials I was able to come up with a satisfying render that served as the visual backbone upon which would be later built the animation and the camera work.
